  6. PLEASE EXPAND THIS PAGE TO FULL WIDTH.
  7. The SALON.EXE File is self-extracting and self-installing.
  8. Use Windows File Manager  RUN : A:\SALON.EXE
  9. Or Double click on the Salon.exe file.
  10. From DOS   C:\>SALTEK  Make a shortcut of main.exe on your desktop.
  11. To make a full screen right click on the shortcut. chose 'Screen'
  12. chose 'Full page'  OK  - Double click Icon

  15. WITHOUT THESE CHANGES THE PROGRAM WILL NOT RUN.PLEASE READ
  16. INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

  19. TO MAKE THESE CHANGES USE 'START' - 'RUN'
  20. AT 'RUN' TYPE 'SYSEDIT'
  21.  
  22. CHOSE AUTOEXEC.BAT
  23. MAKE CHANGES
  24. FROM 'FILES' CHOSE 'SAVE'
  25. DO THE SAME FOR CONFIG.SYS (IF YOU HAVE ONE)

  27. RE-BOOT YOUR COMPUTER

  30. THESE CHANGES WILL NOT AFFECT THE WAY YOUR COMPUTER RUNS.

  32. Your AUTOEXEC.BAT File must contain the line:
  33. SET CLIPPER=F100
  34. THIS MUST BE WRITTEN EXACTLY AS SHOWN (NO=SPACES)ALL CAPITALS

  37. ONLY IF YOU HAVE A CONFIG.SYS AND IT CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING LINES.

  39. Your CONFIG.SYS File must open enough Files
  40. FILES=100
  41. THIS MUST BE WRITTEN EXACTLY AS SHOWN (NO=SPACES)ALL CAPITALS

  44. Add  NOVCPI to the line 
  45. DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS  NOVCPI ...........(ALL CAPITALS)
